Privacy Policy for Ashaf Eye Care

Ashaf Eye Care is a wellness application designed to promote healthy eye habits by tracking screen time, outdoor exposure, and ambient light (Lux), and by providing 20-20-20 eye break reminders.

Information We Collect
The app does not collect or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data remains on the user’s device. Specifically:
- Screen time: counted locally to display daily and weekly statistics.
- Location data: accessed in the background only to calculate outdoor minutes. Location information is never stored outside the device and is never shared.
- Light sensor (Lux): used only in real time to show the current light level; not stored.
- Advertising identifiers: Google AdMob may collect limited data to serve ads and measure performance.

How We Use Information
All accessed data is used only to provide functionality to the user:
- To measure screen usage time.
- To calculate outdoor exposure minutes.
- To show ambient light levels.
- To deliver reminders for healthy breaks (20-20-20 rule).
This data is never used for marketing, tracking, or shared with third parties beyond Google AdMob.

Data Retention and Control
All information is stored locally on the device and is deleted automatically when the app is uninstalled. Users can clear app data at any time from device settings.

Children’s Privacy
Ashaf Eye Care is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
